In addition to the much more intelligent avians such as Penguins and Turkeys, there exist several… more bird-brained species residing on the planet. Take the Chickenoso for instance, a jungle-dwelling ratite with quite the foul reputation. Chickenoso are solitary creatures that are well-known for being obnoxiously loud, super territorial, and downright ugly.
Characterized by their gloomy purple feathers and their puny wings, the Chickenoso stands about 2-3 feet tall when roosting. However, everything changes when the Chickenoso goes on a tantrum-filled rampage. When they stretch their legs out completely, they can stand up to twice their previous height! The legs are strong and muscular and allow for amazing running speeds and deadly kicks.
It is best advised to leave them alone, especially when their taking their naps (which is most of the time). If you hear their signature “yeah” cry, it is high time for you to find a place to hide before they catch up and deliver a brutal thrashing.
