A kooky old tuatara who’s fabled to have mastered every martial art ever conceived. It’s never a dull moment with good old Mr. Link. He’s lived for over 200 years, training countless apprentices and overseeing the development of Drakon as a nation. He lives on the “snout” of the turtle-shaped island, as far away from civilization as possible. He and Emperor Leri are the definition of polar opposites, so he chooses to distance himself from the current monarchy to avoid any arguments.
His way of life is quite unusual, choosing to completely forget the past and never worry about the future. His mind is always set on the present and he combines this philosophy with his instruction. Unfortunately, this means he has a hard time remembering those he’s taught, even if they had been training together for years.
His inspiring lifestyle does little to excuse his other bizarre tendencies. Most would label the energetic old geezer as a total nut. There’s no telling what kind of insanity he’ll get himself into next, whether it’s converting his bed into a gazebo or chowing down on tree trunks.

They look like lizards, but they’re not! Tuatara are a special type of reptile more closely related to dinosaurs than lizards. For this reason, they are often referred to as “living fossils”. Tuatara hail from New Zealand and can live up to 100 years or more. Their name comes from the Māori language and means “peaks on the back”.
