A hot-headed, no-nonsense frilled dragon hailing from the reptilian island Drakon. She has close ties with Drakon’s emperor and serves as the island’s ambassador. On her most recent mission, the people of Drakon had allied with the platypus warriors of Lowert. She works with her two dimwitted companions Boggy and Soggy in search of clues to the legendary Leviathans’ whereabouts.
Like Vivi, Zalea has a strong connection with a Leviathan of her own. Bonded with the Great Fire Leviathan Pyraal, she has tremendous powers involving flames and the like. She can kick fireballs, trigger eruptions, and has a high heat resistance. Her attacks are greatly amplified by the Wyvern Style martial art, a fighting style geared toward those with swift, nimble reptilian agility.
She’s not exactly the easiest to get along with. Her strict sense of duty greatly outweighs her politeness toward those she finds below her, especially if they aren’t reptiles themselves. She’s incredibly prideful, fashionable, and has a bit of a secret crush on Wiki.

Frilled dragons are not actually dragons, but they can be just as fierce! Though not really much for fighters, they can look quite intimidating when they open their mouths wide and unfurl the long scaly flaps around their necks. The frilled dragon uses this pose for more than just discouraging predators; it can also help with territorial disputes, basking in the sun, and attracting mates.
